Job summary

Morrison Living in Leavenworth, KS is hiring immediately for a full-time Cook. Location at Sisters Of Charity - University of Saint Mary, 4100 South 4th Street. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 am and end as late as 8:00 pm; open availability required; weekends and holidays required.

You will prepare food in accordance with recipes and standards, maintain temperatures, and ensure quality and safety. Prior batch cooking experience is required and you'll work with a collaborative culinary team.

• Prior batch cooking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining proper serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management.
