Levy Restaurants is seeking a skilled Cook for a seasonal winter position at Snow Valley. The role requires weekend and holiday availability, with starting pay around $22 per hour.

You will work in a fast-paced grab-and-go kitchen, preparing a variety of meals and ensuring quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has culinary skills, a passion for cooking, and can maintain clean, organized workspaces while following standard recipes and HACCP procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with cutting tools and kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures (grilling, baking, boiling).
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
• Serves meals by using correct portioning and maintaining proper temperatures
• Ensures presentation and portion control; adheres to HACCP standards
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness
• Stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; stores items properly
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor immediately

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to participate in a fast-paced grab and go kitchen environment. A Cook in the position will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring that the food is of high quality, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner


• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions


• Serves meals by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature


• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.


• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.


• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.


• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.


• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed


• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

Skills And Qualifications

• Experience in using cutting tool, cookware and other kitchen equipment


• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
