Job summary

Senior Resource Group in the United States is seeking a team-oriented cook to prepare meals for residents in our senior living communities. You will participate in producing menu items, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, and maintain clean work and storage areas.

Weekend and holiday hours are required; high school diploma or GED preferred, and related food service experience is welcome but not mandatory. We offer competitive pay and benefits to support staff success.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is helpful but not required.
• Demonstrates safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dining service setting.

Job Description

• Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in the production of all menu items.
• Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
• Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.

Qualifications

• Any related experience or training is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
