Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living in Duluth, MN is seeking a Cook/Server to prepare meals and assist in serving residents in a courteous, respectful manner.

Under the Culinary Manager, you will prepare soups, meats, vegetables and desserts, and help with daily meal service in a supportive housing environment.

The position offers day/evening shifts with a part-time option and requires adherence to policies, safety standards, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and understand the Vulnerable Adults Act.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must complete Serv Safe Certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
• Compassionate, tactful and ethical in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to prescribed menus and assist in kitchen cleanup.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering.
• Follow safety guidelines for cooking times, temperatures and sanitation.
• Read and follow written instructions and memos; work as part of a team.
