Job Title: Cook/Server at Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility

Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility in Lake City is hiring a flexible cook to also work as a server. Are you looking for more than just a job? This is a part-time position.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area
• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Plan menus, prep, and prepare meals for residents using standardized recipes
• Cook entire meals in larger quantities (20+ meals); Serve safe certification preferred but not required
• Plate and serve meals promptly and attractively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies
• Deliver room service trays
• Transport residents to and from the dining room
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards according to health regulations and facility policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
