TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a reliable Cook to join our TerraBella Southport community. You will prepare hot and cold items for residents, working across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service line, with a focus on quality and consistent presentation.

The ideal candidate has prior senior living food service experience, knowledge of production methods, portion control and food safety, and is comfortable working weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills; attention to detail and presentation of food

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving according to menu cycle and recipes
• Taste and assess food quality and palatability
