Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper cooking status, and seasoning of all foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team environment and promote good relations with residents and guests.
• Ensure resident rights and a safe, dignified environment.
• Maintain safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Present a professional appearance with uniform and name tag.
