Job summary

Great Lakes Christian Homes is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals following planned menus at the on-site kitchen. You will help ensure high food quality, safety, and sanitation while supporting residents with special diet needs and portion control.

Pay: $15.76-20.14/hour based on experience

What You'll Do

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals using planned menus and recipes
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
• Assist with special diets and portion control
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen
• Work alongside a supportive team to provide an exceptional dining experience

What We're Looking For

• Experience in commercial or institutional cooking is preferred, but not required

Schedule

• Five days per week, including every other weekend
• Two days off each week
• Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Occasional hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
