Job summary

Great Lakes Christian Homes in Holt, MI is seeking a Cook with Purpose to prepare fresh, nutritious meals from planned menus, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety. You will support residents with a high-quality dining experience as part of a caring team.

Five days a week with early hours and occasional shifts; PTO, retirement plan with employer match, and a free meal each shift are offered, along with education assistance and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or institutional cooking is preferred, but not required
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Dependability and attention to detail

Pay: $15.76-20.14/hour based on experience

What You'll Do

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals using planned menus and recipes

What We're Looking For

Schedule

• Five days per week, including every other weekend
• Two days off each week
• Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Occasional hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
