Job summary

Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is hiring a Cook to join a welcoming, faith-based senior living community and prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests. You will follow established recipes and production sheets, ensure safe food handling, and work with commercial kitchen equipment.

The position offers full-time hours from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a pay range of $17.00–$21.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits are included to support health and security.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of recipe food prep procedures and production sheets.
• Maintains competency in Serve Safe guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process food for residents, staff, and guests in compliance with all regulations.
• Set up steam tables and operate all kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, slicers, etc.) and maintain current recipe prep knowledge.

Do you enjoy preparing great food and being part of a dependable, team-oriented kitchen? Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests in a welcoming, faith-based senior living community.

In this role, you’ll use established recipes and production sheets to prepare and cook meals, set up food service areas, and help ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and on time. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with commercial kitchen equipment and takes pride in providing quality meals and excellent service.
