Inspired Living in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, FL is seeking a Cook to join our community dining team. You’ll prepare high-quality meals, follow recipes and nutritional standards, and maintain safe, clean kitchen spaces. You’ll engage with residents to understand preferences and contribute to a warm, dining experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and initiative in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to mentor peers and support menu execution day by day.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of food service experience.
• 3+ years of food service experience preferred.
• Passion for preparing quality food and serving others.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high-quality meals according to the community's menu and nutritional standards.
• Follow recipes, special diets, and resident preferences with care and attention to detail.
• Prepare food safely while maintaining proper temperatures, storage, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Get to know resident likes and dislikes and help create meals residents look forward to.
• Support an exceptional dining experience by interacting with residents and responding to their needs and feedback.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment, storage areas, and food preparation spaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with the Culinary Services team to support smooth meal service.
• Help train and support team members and promote a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
• Follow all health department, company, and safety standards.
• Jump in, show initiative, and help wherever needed to make the dining experience exceptional.
