Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Cook's Assistant for our Southwest Psychiatric Facility in El Dorado Springs, MO.

Full-time, benefit eligible position working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00am-6:00pm. In this role you'll help prepare nutritious meals to support wellness and recovery for adults in a behavioral health setting, assist in life-skills development, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Experience in food production preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member in a healthcare setting.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving healthy meals to clients and staff.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and prep areas.
• Support instruction in basic food skills or healthy eating for clients.
• Document client participation in work therapy or skills training sessions.
• Collaborate with kitchen team on food ordering and inventory.

Support Healing in the Kitchen as a Cook's Assistant at Our Adult Psychiatric Hospital

Full-time, benefit eligible position. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00am-6:00pm. Off Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

As a Cook's Assistant, you'll help prepare nutritious meals that support the wellness and recovery of adults in our psychiatric hospital. More than just food prep, this role offers the opportunity to assist in life-skills development for clients, contribute to special events, and play a vital role in a clean, organized, and recovery-focused kitchen environment.
