Bloomingdale's Cook Professional is an essential part of the guest experience, delivering on-brand culinary excellence and friendly service across our restaurant. You will select ingredients, prepare dishes, and present meals to meet Bloomingdale's standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years direct experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manager to exploit current culinary trends and implement new and on-brand initiatives.
• Collaborates with manager to create menus for special events as needed.
• Work with Restaurant Manager to ensure proper communication with co-workers.
• Be a motivating presence and leader to the staff to constantly improve and exceed customer expectations.
