Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a 218-bed long term care / Skilled Nursing Facility in Mercer County, is seeking a part-time Cook to join our dietary team.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities include preparing meals for regular and therapeutic diets, following safety standards, and ensuring timely service and proper food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus.
• Prepares food using proper food handling and safety factors.
• Ensures that the proper quantity of food is prepared.
• Makes only authorized substitutions.
• Ensures that all food is prepared and served according to proper time schedules.
• Keeps work area neat and uncluttered.
• Serves food according to the planned menu and according to the specific diet of the patient/resident.
• Ensures that refrigerator and freezer temperatures are maintained in proper temperature ranges.
