Job summary

StepStone Hospitality in Needham, MA is seeking an AM Breakfast cook to support breakfast service, room service, Grab and Go, and dinner menus. You will follow written recipes and maintain sanitation standards.

Scheduled hours vary weekly; weekends and holidays required. Benefits include Marriott discounts, free parking, complimentary meals on duty, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Open and close kitchen in the absence of supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Cover label and date all food products.
• Open kitchen and Close kitchen in absence of supervisors.
• Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items including breakfast, room service, Grab and Go, and dinner menus.
• Report out of stock items to the supervisor.
• Prepare for the next shift, and ensure there is inventory.
• Help set-up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet.
• Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel.
• Perform the duties of the Prep List schedule.
• Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.
• Assist with banquet preparation, as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum lifting and pulling of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Understands the overall functions and machinery in a Kitchen
• Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to business needs of the Hotel.
