The Vines Hospital (affiliated with Universal Health Services), located in Ocala, FL, is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs as well as acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

Cook - PRN

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving healthy, flavorful meals to patients and staff under the supervision of the Dietary Director. The role includes ensuring all meals meet hospital standards and assisting with various dietary tasks related to food preparation and service.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Trade or vocational school training a plus.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in food service, with experience in food service in a health care facility preferred. ServSafe is required. Food handler certificate a plus.
