Job summary

Texas Health Cleburne, located at 201 Walls Drive, TX 76031, is seeking a Cook to join our Food and Nutrition Services. This PRN daytime role supports high-volume hospital food service, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.

You will contribute to production planning, food safety, and timely delivery of meals. Training and leadership resources are provided as part of a dedicated, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year relevant experience in high-volume restaurant, hospital, or institution.
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days.
• Knowledge of food preparation/handling and sanitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Organizes work/area for maximum production, accurately follows production sheets.
• Deliver and stock supply items in designated areas in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintains kitchen and serving areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner to exceed standards.
• Understands how to read and prepare simple recipes to department standards.
• Understand department standards of food quality and recipe taste.
• Ability to learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.

Here's What You Need

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 1 Year relevant experience in high volume restaurant, hospital, or Institution
