Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a flexible Line/Prep/Retail Cook to support patient meals and café service. The role requires following recipes, cooking on the line, and ensuring timely, quality food for patients and visitors.

The position offers variable shifts (8am–8:30pm) with weekend coverage as needed. Prior restaurant or healthcare kitchen experience is preferred; a Food Handler or ServSafe certification is required by start.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day of work.
• 1+ year of cook/line cook experience preferred in restaurant or healthcare.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with safe food handling techniques.

Responsibilities

This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
