Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a Cook PRN to support hot production in the Nutritional Service Department. The role reports to the FANS Management team and emphasizes safety, sanitation, and quality meal preparation with attentive customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of healthcare food service experience, with English reading and speaking proficiency required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cook works under the direction of the FANS Management team to ensure that all work is performed utilizing all safety and sanitation guidelines. Performs routine daily tasks related to hot production needs of the Nutritional Service Department.The position will prepare and cook all hot food and related items ensuring a clean and sanitized work area in accord with recipe requirements. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma/equivalent, preferred
• 1 year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
• Ability to read, write and converse in English required
