Description:

We are hiring for a Food Service Worker position. The responsibilities include:

1. Preparing meals according to planned menus and reviewing menus prior to food preparation.
2. Assisting in serving meals promptly and following established procedures.
3. Developing good working relationships with staff and other departments to ensure proper food service.
4. Serving and preparing food that is palatable and adhering to portion control and standardized recipes, making authorized substitutions only.
5. Maintaining safety and sanitary standards at all times.
6. Assisting with cleaning duties and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
7. Reporting hazardous conditions or equipment immediately.
8. Ensuring food and supplies are available for upcoming meals, and assisting with inventory management.
9. Recommending equipment and supply needs to the manager.
10. Assisting in preparing food for special events and anticipating residents' needs to provide a comfortable environment.
11. Participating in training sessions and reporting occupational exposures as per policy.
