Job summary

Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Nutrition Services Associate to assist in meal preparation and food service within a hospital-style facility. The role requires cooking a variety of foods in large quantities, following food procedures, and supporting patient and facility dining needs.

One year of food service experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED. Successful completion of background and drug screenings is required.

Requirements of the Nutrition Services Associate:

• One (1) year food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be knowledgeable of food procedures.
• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is required.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
