Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Nutrition Services Associate to join our team. You will cook and portion foods for residents, prepare meals in large quantities, and follow established food procedures in a hospital/long-term care setting.

We offer full-time schedules with competitive pay of $18–$20 per hour, benefits starting the first day of the month after hire, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related medical setting preferred.
• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a post-offer background check and drug screen.

Requirements of the Nutrition Services Associate:

• One (1) year food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be knowledgeable of food procedures.
• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is required.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
