Job summary

About the Role:

COOKING EXPERIENCE in a Nursing healthcare or Hospital dietary setting strongly desired

SHIFTS: 4-5 DAYS WEEKLY WITH ROTATIONAL WEEKENDS.

We are seeking a skilled and EXPERIENCED FULL TIME OR PART TIME COOK to join our team at Pine Creek Manor in PSV. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standard, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. You will work closely with our dietary team to plan menus and ensure that all dietary requirements are met. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our facility and ensuring the satisfaction of our residents. This position is primarily for day shift but may cover some afternoon shifts if needed from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (REQUIRED)
• Must have or be able to obtain a Serv-Safe certification upon offer (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
