Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Cook to complete all essential functions and assist the Lead Cook with preparing food for staff and patients. The role handles regular and modified diets in compliance with federal, state, and corporate standards for patients of all ages and hospital personnel.

The anticipated hourly range is $20.05/hr - $25.07/hr - $27.08/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and other factors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with dietetics and food service training preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and departmental policies.
• Ability to read Dietary Manual and fill out special diets under supervision.
• ServSafe Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• English speaking and writing skills preferred.

• Must know how to read Dietary Manual and how to fill out special diets under supervision of Registered Dietitian and/or Manager of Food & Nutrition Services.
• ServSafe Certification Required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
