Job summary

ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC, seeks a food service worker to prepare meals for patients, staff, Meals on Wheels, visitors and catering clients in line with current standards, policies and supervisor directions.

This PRN / As needed role offers rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and carries no benefits. Hours vary to cover patient need. ECU Health is a multi-site health system.

Position Summary

Prepares food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Supervisor, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times for patients, staff, Meals on Wheels, visitors and catering cliental.

Minimum Requirements

• Basic Skill Set or higher
• Zero to two years related experience

Pay Range

$16.00 - $22.42

Other Information

This is a PRN / As needed position with no benefits

Rotating shifts / as needed

Rotating weekends / holidays
