Cityview Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a Certus Healthcare community in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a healthcare setting. You will ensure food safety, assist with menu planning, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while working with a collaborative culinary team.

Starting pay is $17 per hour, with a typical schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week and an every-other-weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to prepare meals that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
