Overview

Serve as a cook and perform general food preparation and cooking duties, and food service sanitation duties.

ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs cooking and food preparation duties including therapeutic diets.
• Serves meals to clients.
• Determines portions to be cooked (production).
• Maintains the work area, washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, counter tops and other equipment used in meal preparation.
• Completes appropriate labeling of trays and paying close attention to diet needs.

Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am-6:00pm

Qualifications

1. Prior food service experience preferred.
2. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
3. Must pass drug screen and level 2 background check.
