Dublin Square is hiring a Cook to prepare and serve meals that are fresh, appealing, and made with care for residents. You’ll work with a team to create a welcoming dining experience and ensure high quality service. This role supports residents by delivering nourishing meals and a positive dining atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain, a high school diploma or GED, and experience in food preparation. Benefits include health care, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED accepted.
• ServSafe certificate required or willing to obtain.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• 1 year food preparation and menu item experience with therapeutic diets preferred.
• Must be 16+ (18+ when operating certain equipment in NC).
• 3 years healthcare/hospitality/service environment experience preferred.
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.

• Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
• Must be 16 years or older. In NC, must be 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines such as a meat slicer, mixer, etc.
• Three years’ experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
