Dayton Children’s is seeking a Production Cook for the Food Services department on a part-time schedule (31 hours per week). The role involves preparing large quantities of food by following recipes, applying proper knife skills, and reading new recipes.

You will taste adjustments as needed and ensure the finished dishes are presented well. The position requires 1-2 years of kitchen experience, and a GED or high school diploma is preferred.

Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Food Services Schedule: Part time Hours: 31 Job Details: The Production Cook prepares large quantities of food following a recipe. Proper knife skills and the ability to make timely judgments/decisions must be demonstrated. The Production Cook must have the ability to read a new recipe and follow the instructions and have the willingness to taste the food and suggest adjustments as needed. Proper presentation of the finished product is a priority.

Department Specific Job Details: Shift: 7:30AM - 2:00PM, varied shift on weekend. Rotating weekends and holidays.

• Education: GED/High School diploma preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years kitchen experience
