Job summary

Cascades at St Anne in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Line/Prep Cook to support daily meal production in a high-volume SNF kitchen. You will help assemble meals, prep ingredients, and ensure timely service while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a Food Handler's Permit, HS diploma, and at least 18 years old; preferred one year cooking experience. You will supervise cook-aides as needed and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Food Handler's Permit is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ongoing meal production and ensure timely service.
• Test new recipes and assist with kitchen inspections when needed.
• Keep kitchen clean and organize deliveries; monitor storage temperatures.
• Inspect storage areas for cleanliness and order on a regular basis.
• Support direction to cook-aides and dish-aides as needed.

Job Description:
