Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a Restaurant Cook to work with health-minded teammates in a fast-paced setting, preparing menu items according to recipes and food-safety guidelines.

You will maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage kitchen flow with sandwich and salad stations, following recipes to ensure freshness and quality. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days.
• ServSafe certification within 90 days.
• Experience in fast casual or full-service restaurant preferred.

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 and pays up to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications.
