Job summary

The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking a part-time Cook in Honolulu, HI (5 hours per week, Monday evenings).

Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, you will prepare evening meals and supervise residents in the kitchen, ensuring meals are cooked and served to a large group within designated times.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent (preferred).
• Experience: 1 year in food service/preparation (required).
• Ability to supervise residents in a kitchen and work independently.

Responsibilities

Must be able to work independently without assistance in preparing, cooking and serving meals to a large group within the designated meal period times.

Satisfactory combination of education, training and experience in food service and preparation, purchasing, and sanitation to enable one to assist the head of an institutional dietary service. Proven ability to supervise.
