Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience are provided at all times. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and policies.

You Will Earn

• Starting Wages: $16.80 per hour base rate

How You Will Help People Every Day

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, families, and visitors

What You Will Need to Join Our EPIC Team

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory role in healthcare or similar settings
• Excellent customer service skills, committed to delivering passionate, innovative care
• Team player, dedicated to supporting colleagues and completing tasks
