Job summary

Full House Resorts, Inc. is seeking a skilled cook for our Colorado gaming-focused dining operation in Cripple Creek.

You will prepare all menu items and specials with consistent quality, taste, and presentation, including large orders while preserving plate integrity. In this role you read tickets, accommodate guest specifications and modifications, maintain a clean workstation, and uphold health standards and Colorado Gaming Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cooking experience in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines or work under pressure.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent; 1+ years cooking experience preferred.

• Efficiently and consistently prepares all menu items and specials with great attention to quality, presentation, taste, and all other details. Includes the ability to prepare large orders in a manner that preserves the quality of each plate.
• Able to effectively make adjustments to provide the best overall dining experience to all customers. Reads tickets and makes food according to guest specifications, including any modifications they would like.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
• Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
• Maintains a clean work station. Assists in keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
• Alerts supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of all food.
• Performs duties in compliance with health standards, Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
• Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of restaurant operations at all times.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated cooking experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent in education and experience. One (1) or more years of recent and related cooking experience is preferred, specifically within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.

$22.00+ hour based on experience plus tips
