Job summary

New Trend Foods Central Office is seeking a Cook to join the Oriental Wok USA team. This is for the exciting U.S. launch of an international brand known for its bold Asian flavors. Your responsibilities will include preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Chinese and Japanese cuisine, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Positions are available full-time and part-time, offering a collaborative environment and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Bilingual strongly encouraged.
• Professional appearance and proper uniform required.
• Excellent hygiene and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency and accuracy.
• Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Participate in daily briefings and follow all production procedures.

As a Cook, you’ll help bring our vision to life in a high-standard, team-oriented kitchen focused on consistency, quality, and authentic flavors.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Keep Kitchen Board forms updated and maintain proper organization at your station.
• Uphold top-tier sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
• Minimize waste and follow proper portion control for all menu items.
• Maintain a safe, positive work environment for yourself and your team.
• Participate in daily briefings and follow all production schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate with management to exceed expectations in food quality and presentation.
• Follow cleaning schedules for equipment and kitchen areas.
• Support safe work habits and comply with all safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

• Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure.
