Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is looking for a PRN line cook to join our team. The role is on-call and located on site in El Dorado Hills, CA, with compensation in the $17.50 to $19.50 per hour range.

You will work in a full scratch kitchen, delivering high-quality meals to residents and guests. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of fast-paced kitchen experience, are capable of timely dish execution, and communicate warmly with staff.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant.
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or on prep line.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to spec in a scratch kitchen.
• Assist residents and guests with culinary needs during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations.

What we request:

• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
