Job summary

South Mountain Healthcare is seeking a full-time Cook to join our Kitchen staff. You will prepare meals for patients and residents following federal, state, and facility guidelines, under the direction of the Director of Dietary.

The ideal candidate has ServSafe certification, nursing home experience, and at least one year of cooking experience. Must be reliable and capable of maintaining high food quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification required.
• Nursing home experience and knowledge of diet textures.
• One year of cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with applicable standards and policies as directed by Dietary Director.
• Maintain quality, safety and portion control in a patient/resident meal service.

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our Kitchen staff.

Responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations and facility policies, as directed by the Director of Dietary, to ensure that quality food service is give to the patient/resident at all times.

ServSafe Certification is required.

Nursing Home experience/diet textures.

One year experience

Hours 5am-1pm & 11am-7pm

Rates are based on experience.
