Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Cook for our Tyler, TX community. The role focuses on preparing meals, following established recipes, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. You will work with a team to ensure quality service and appealing presentation for residents.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to sanitation policies, ongoing learning, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive culinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting.
• Commitment to quality, teamwork, and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow established recipes, plating standards, and sanitation protocols.

Responsabilités

• Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards.
• Maintain temperature charts and food safety records.
• Notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in kitchen operations.
• Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene.
• Assist in organizing the kitchen, food storage, and dish areas; foster collaboration.
• Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation for freshness.
• Support Chef Manager with staff training opportunities.
