Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona in Mesa is seeking a reliable Cook who will prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, while ensuring kitchen cleanliness and safety.

The Food Service Coordinator will help with planning, ordering, and inventory of foods and supplies, strictly following the approved menu and licensing standards to support our Mesa program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift Sunday-Thursday, 10am-6pm.
• At least 3 years experience in food preparation for large groups.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a food handler’s card or the ability to obtain one.
• Clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The Child Crisis Arizona ORR Mesa Program is ready to hire a bilingual Food Service Coordinator (cook) to join our team.We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals who are committed to providing quality food and related services for all children in our care. * In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of multiple meals and snacks for children and staff. The food service coordinator will also ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and pantry and assist with the planning, ordering, and inventory of foods and kitchen supplies.
