Arden Courts Avon is hiring a PRN Cook

As a Cook, you prepare meals for residents and assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions. You strive to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable setting while serving appetizing and nutritious food. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent contact with residents and families.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Experience: Previous experience in food preparation
• Certification: Food Service Sanitation certificate, as per State/Local requirements

Physical Demands

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting. Must be able to work safely around equipment and odors.
