Job Description
Arden Courts Yardley is hiring a PRN Cook
As a Cook you prepare the meals for the residents and assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions. You strive to provide a setting that is clean, safe, and comfortable while serving food that is appetizing and nutritious. Because you are always in contact with residents and families, and to guarantee their satisfaction, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma
Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner; Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
Years of Experience: Previous experience in food preparation
License: N/A
Certification: Food Service Sanitation certificate, as per State/Local requirements
Physical Demands: Ability to punch/pull objects and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis. Must have full use of gross and fine motor, skills of the upper and lower extremities. Ability to stand for prolonged period of time. Sits, stands, bends, lifts during working hours. Is subject to burns from equipment and odors throughout working hours.
