Job summary

Emplify Health by Bellin in Green Bay, WI is seeking an entry-level cook/food service team member. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold foods, read recipes, and adjust quantities to meet daily census and production needs.

You will also assist with inventory, restock, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen throughout each shift. The role requires Serve Safe certification within 6 months and 1–2 years of cooking/prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook a variety of hot and cold foods following recipes and food-safety guidelines

• Restock food and supplies to keep the kitchen ready
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and clean equipment
• Assist with food inventory and ordering to keep ingredients on hand
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed and support team
• Complete daily cleaning and help maintain a kitchen you can be proud of

Job Specifics:

Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301

FTE Status: 0.80 FTE (32 hours/week)

Work Schedule: 7-3 PM rotating weekends and holiday's

Job Description:

• Cook with purpose: Prepare a variety of hot and cold foods while following recipes, production standards, and food-safety guidelines.
• Know your recipes: Read recipes and adjust quantities based on daily census and production needs.
• Get creative: Prepare and bake specialty items when needed.
• Keep things moving: Prepare, serve, and replenish food throughout the shift.
• Stay stocked: Restock food and supplies so the kitchen is always ready for what’s next.
• Keep it clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and properly clean equipment.
• Help manage inventory: Assist with food inventory and ordering to keep the right ingredients on hand.
• Teamwork makes the kitchen work: Wash and put away dishes, pots, and pans as needed and jump in wherever the team needs support.
• Own your space: Complete daily cleaning and help maintain a kitchen you can be proud of.

Qualifications:

Certification/Registration/Licensure : State approved Serve Safe Certification within 6 months of start date required.

Experience : One to two years of cooking/prep work preferred.
