Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is seeking a Cook for our Long Term Care Facility. Works under the Director of Culinary Services in preparing, serving and storing meals in accordance with menus, recipes, dietary requirements and regulations.

Essential tasks include planning and preparing daily meals, managing portions, maintaining kitchen safety and infection control, and communicating with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of applicable experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations relating to food service.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.
• Must be able to attend regularly and meet health regulations including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals according to the menu and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Manage portion control and ensure proper preparation for individual needs.
• Maintain kitchen safety and infection control practices.
