Walker Methodist Health Center is recruiting for a Cook to work in their large and fast-paced department preparing high‑quality meals following recipes, portion controls, presentation specifications and resident therapeutic diets.

Full‑time, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• One year experience as a cook in a long‑term care facility or hospitality/restaurant setting
• ServSafe certificate or ability to obtain within three months of hire
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
