Job summary

A high-volume fast casual restaurant in California is seeking a Kitchen Cook with proven experience. The role emphasizes customer service, efficiency, and pride in the meals served, with the ability to work flexible hours and late nights on Fri and Sat.

You will collaborate closely with team members and managers to maintain quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include food prep, sanitation, proper waste handling, kitchen maintenance, and restocking for each shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold California Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with flexible hours, including late nights.

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean all kitchen garbage and recycle receptacles.
• Record and dispose of food waste.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and baseboards, including cleaning under equipment.
• Clean grill, grease trap, hoods, warmers, bun toaster, hot dog station, fry dump station, fryers, and all other kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Date, seal and properly store remaining condiments, sauces, and food items.
• Clean and sanitize all work stations, counters, shelving, and walls.
• Clean the walk-in cooler and sandwich table inside and out.
• Restock food and paper items for next shift.
• Must be able to work well with others and with management staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Kitchen Cook - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONDIDEREDIt's all about customer service, burgers, fries, and the Root Beer! High volume fast casual restaurant looking for a few great people! Must be flexible with your hours, must be able to work until midnight (Fri & Sat nights), and must be reliable.

• Must be able to work at a fast pace and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work well with others and with management staff.
• Must be able to take, pass and hold California Food Safety Food Handlers Card.
