Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a Cook for LIFE Programs at the LIFE Center in Center Township, Beaver County, PA. The role supports therapeutic diets and regulatory meal preparation for residents served by LIFE.

This full-time daytime position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid throughout the first year, with starting wages at $18.00/hour. Join a robust range of health and social services across western Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of portion control, kitchen equipment, and therapeutic diets.
• One year of experience with the frail and elderly.

• The Cook, LIFE Programs is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of all meals served at the LIFE Center to comply with all therapeutic diet and regulatory requirements.

Cook - We are offering a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).

Full-Time, Daylight shift. 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Rates starting at $18.00/hour.

Located in Center Twp, Beaver County, PA.

LIFE is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.
