Job summary

Taziki’s Café in Birmingham, AL is hiring for Kitchen Team Members. You’ll help prepare fresh food, stock stations, and support catering orders in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Experience is welcome but not required—we train you. With flexible hours and opportunities to learn the restaurant trade, you’ll join a team that values good food, clean standards, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain menu and product knowledge.
• Manage orders efficiently.
• Prepare catering orders.
• Handle and store food properly under health standards.
• Maintain hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Uphold health department standards during shifts.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Perform shift duties including opening and closing tasks.
• Complete required course certifications for Kitchen Team Members.

• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform

Your Working Conditions / Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
