Job summary

Woodlake Trails is seeking a dedicated kitchen cook to support our dining operations in Casa Grande, AZ. You will prepare meals using a range of kitchen equipment, maintain clean cooking areas, and assist with daily specials and menu planning.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of cook experience, basic computer skills, and a Food Handling Certification. A valid driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in a restaurant cook role required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Professional appearance required.
• Food Handling Certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food ordered by customers using restaurant equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, processors).
• Performs shift opening/closing duties as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintains clean and organized cooking areas and storage per Health Department rules.
• Restocks products as needed during shifts.
• Collaborates with Restaurant Manager on daily specials and new menu items.
• Monitors menu cycle and notifies of shortages.
• Other duties as assigned.
