Job summary

Job Corps in Riverton, Wyoming seeks a Food Service Worker to support daily meal prep and service in a campus dining operation.

You will ensure meals meet planned menus, maintain temperatures, keep areas clean, handle sanitary food practices, and assist with ordering and inventory. Strong candidates have 3–6 months of related experience and a high school diploma, with culinary training preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food prep according to planned menus and quantities.
• Maintain proper temperatures for hot and cold items.
• Inspect and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure sanitary handling from receipt to storage.
• Check equipment cleanliness and sanitation daily.
• Notify supervisor and issue work orders for repairs or replacements.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and inventory.
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and sanitize tables.
• Other duties as assigned.
