Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Fenton, MI invites applications for a Full-Time Cook role. You will prepare meals under established guidelines, coordinate production with serving times, and assist with tray line setup and daily kitchen cleaning.

The role emphasizes hospitality and exceptional guest service in a senior living setting. The position offers a day shift with rotating weekends, holiday coverage as needed, and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity, in long-term care or hospital settings.
• Excellent customer service skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to align with meal serving times for quality and appearance.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.

Our Cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times. How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• You will coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
• You may assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• You will assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
